David V. Kimball is co-founder and CEO of lilAgents, where he leads strategy and designs the automations that take busywork off our clients' teams. He has worked across the software, staffing, and creative industries, including enterprise work at TrueBlue, and has led teams since 2015 on projects built around one idea: make the tools easier so non-technical people can get more done. He holds a B.A. in Communication from Northwest University.
Starting well before AI, he spent years building automations, cleaning up CRM data and improving processes for his father's financial planning practice, until his dad retired. He's obsessed with process, platform agnosticism, and building useful things, and he builds with AI agents every day, which is how he knows which work a human still needs to do and which work they don't. He's worked remotely since 2018 from the Pacific Northwest, where he lives with his wife and kids. On his blog he writes about productivity, tech, and whatever he's working on.
