Kainos Christian Therapy
A compliance-first website rebuild and platform migration for a faith-based counseling practice.

The Challenge
A practice boxed in by its old website
A Site That Fought Every Edit
Kainos was on a WordPress site where simple changes were a struggle. A single brand color lived in a dozen places and never updated everywhere at once, and the blog had been switched off because keeping it current took more effort than it was worth.
Analytics That Had Gone Dark
The old site tracked visitors through Google's since-retired Universal Analytics, so for a long stretch there was no real picture of who was visiting, which pages mattered, or whether anyone was booking a session.
Notifications Going Missing
Without DMARC and DKIM records in place, voicemail transcripts and booking notifications were bouncing with 550 errors instead of reaching the team, so real messages slipped past unseen.
A Booking Flow Full of Friction
New clients had to work through a contact form and an email back-and-forth before they could book, adding steps at exactly the moment a first-time visitor is most likely to give up.
Our Solution
A site the practice owns, built for a regulated field
Full Platform Migration
We rebuilt Kainos from the ground up, moving off WordPress and Bluehost onto a fast, modern Astro site on Netlify, and transferred the domain to a registrar the practice controls.
A CMS They Actually Run
A git-based Sveltia CMS puts nearly everything in the client's hands: page copy, blog posts, images, downloadable resources, job postings, and even global brand colors through simple hex pickers. No developer round-trip required.
Booking Wired to the EMR
Every Request Appointment button routes straight to their SimplePractice booking portal, with service-specific buttons that pre-fill the right therapy type. A Client Portal link sits in the navigation for existing clients.
Built for a Regulated Field
Marketing a mental-health practice in California comes with real rules, and we built the site to fit them from the start: an endorsement banner from local pastors and community leaders, where the client reviews most businesses lean on are off-limits, plus cookieless analytics and a HIPAA-aware booking flow.
Infrastructure Repaired
We added the missing DMARC and DKIM records and diagnosed the 550 bounce errors, restoring reliable delivery of the voicemail and booking notifications the practice runs on.
A Hosting Bill That Disappeared
The old WordPress site renewed on Bluehost every few years, and the next bill was headed as high as $1,800. The rebuilt site runs on Netlify's free tier, so that recurring cost simply goes away, and the site loads faster as a bonus.
The Results
Owned, lean, and running on its own
The Client Runs the Site
Kainos edits copy, colors, blog posts, resources, and job listings themselves, and toggles whole pages on and off, with changes live in seconds and no support ticket in sight.
Compliance Built In, Not Bolted On
Endorsements instead of solicited reviews, cookieless analytics, and a HIPAA-aware booking flow mean the site fits the rules a mental-health practice has to follow.
Infrastructure That Finally Works
Email deliverability is fixed, analytics record from a clean baseline after years of silence, and the domain now sits with a registrar the practice owns.
Delivered on Their Terms
Launched in about six weeks and signed off in person, the project closed with the practice happy enough to pay early and leave a five-star review.
"lilAgents provided us a tailor-made service package at a competitive price and delivered! They are professional, organized, and fast. In our case they did a website build and migration, custom CMS, and SEO strategy. I would highly recommend them!"

Services Delivered
One flat project fee covered the whole build, from platform migration to compliance-aware content and analytics, and left Kainos Christian Therapy owning every piece of it.
