Why We Built lilAgents

Back in February 2023, when Apple unveiled the Vision Pro, I felt a spark that took me right back to my childhood, unwrapping my first Game Boy. That sense of wonder, of holding something that felt like pure magic, hit me all over again. I remember thinking, “This is it. This is the Tony Stark, Iron Man JARVIS moment.” Sure, the form factor might not be perfect yet, but the use case? Revolutionary. A device that could blend the digital and physical worlds so seamlessly felt like the next iPhone, a game-changer that would redefine how we interact with technology. Fast forward to today the vision pro hasn’t taken off as quickly as I hoped but the idea of the future is coming fast and I wanted to be ready for it.

But let’s be real: that kind of innovation comes with a price tag most of us can’t casually drop. So, I started thinking, what if we didn’t have to wait for the hardware to become affordable? What if AI could get so good, so accessible, that it’s practically free? AI is a magic wand just waiting for the right dreamers to use it. That’s when the seeds for lilAgents started to form.

By day, I’m a user experience manager, working with some of the legacy titans in tech. I’ve spent years designing systems that make life easier, more intuitive, and more connected for users. Right now, we might be shipping tools to deliver the websites of yesterday, but with lilAgents, we’re strongly locked into the future of Web 3.0, a decentralized, user-empowered internet where creativity and ownership are key components. But lilAgents? It’s a way for me to give back to the community that helped me get where I am today. The mentors, the late-night coding sessions, the forums, the friends who shared their knowledge, I owe so much to them. lilAgents is my way of paying it forward.

As Steve Jobs once said, “Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels.” Those words resonate deeply with me. lilAgents is for the crazy ones, the dreamers who believe in a future where technology empowers everyone, not just the few.

Here’s the truth: being at the top alone isn’t fun. Success feels hollow if you’re not lifting others up along the way. lilAgents wasn’t built for me to own or to hoard. It was built to inspire, to empower, and to give people the tools to create something extraordinary in the Web 3.0 era and beyond. It’s about sparking that same excitement I felt as a kid with my Game Boy, or as an adult watching the Vision Pro announcement, the belief that the future is here, and we can all build something great with it.
